SUMMARY:Shavuot Seder
DESCRIPTION:A new venture for KLS!  Shavuot Seder led by Rabbi Janet Darley.  In the context of a seder\, we will use Tanach and Rabbinic Literature to deepen our understanding of the history and teachings of Shavuot.  We will eat some symbolic food items and perhaps discover some things hidden\, as well as consider other symbols of the festival. For example\, what is the relationship between cheese and the “mountain of peaks” where we are told Torah was given? \nPlease bring some appropriate food to share for Kiddush following the seder. \n  \nVisitors are welcome to Kingston Liberal Synagogue\, but please contact the office in advance.
