SUMMARY:Table Tennis Club
DESCRIPTION:2nd Tuesday of the month from 8-10pm\n\nAll welcome to join us for a friendly game of table tennis.  We meet monthly\, usually on the second Tuesday of the month\, at the synagogue in the NFJ Hall.  All ages and all abilities.  The club recently received a new table in celebration of Robert Markless’s tutorship of 100 Bnei Mitzvah. \nWe have two tables and play singles as well as doubles. We usually end the evening with all around the table\, when people have to keep moving around and hitting alternatively\, losing a “life” every time they lose a point. After three lives\, a person falls out. This continues until two left and they then play a best of five points singles. It can be very hectic at times\, but good fun. \nWe took part in a national tournament in 2012 and won a trophy! \nPlease contact the Synagogue Office if you would like to join us \nThe new table tennis table is “christened”!!!\n. \n

DESCRIPTION:Weekly 90 minute class on most Thursdays 7.00-8.30pm\n\nStay sharp. Be fit. Burn 1000 calories. Look after yourself. \nBe aware\, confident\, safe!  Burn calories and improve fitness! \nAdult self-defence classes (Urban Krav Maga) run on most Thursdays at 7pm. \nFirst class free – but please book in advance via the office. \nKrav Maga is great for awareness\, confidence\, exercise\, fitness\, stress and self defence. \nYou don’t have to be fit to start but your fitness will improve. \nGeared to mixed ages and abilities\, minimum age is 18\, beginners welcome. \nCost – £10 per session\, paid directly to the external trainer. \nPlease contact the KLS Office for more information if you would like to try Krav Maga.

SUMMARY:Beiteinu
DESCRIPTION:Beiteinu – Religion School\n\n\nThe school uses the principles of Informal Education to teach a religious knowledge and Hebrew curriculum to pupils aged between 5-16. We also have a developing early years’ programme\, Shabbatots\, which runs monthly when we have Family Services. \n  \nThe children have a short breaktime – please bring fruit for the snack.  There is a short assembly for all children each week\, and teaching in year groups.  Music\, art and Hebrew teaching feature for children in primary school. \n  \nThe 12-13 year olds prepare for B’nei Mitzvah\, then complete their Beiteinu experience in the Kabbalat Torah class. \n\nInterested in bringing your child to Beiteinu?  Please contact the office and we can arrange for you to talk to the Rabbi and the Beiteinu Head Teacher.
