
Israeli Film Festival

KLS is celebrating Yom HaAtzma’ut (Israeli Independence Day) with a film festival showcasing 6 Israeli films from different genre. All films are either in English or have English sub-titles.
Films will be shown at 8pm on alternate Mondays, starting on 11 May. Popcorn and soft drinks will be available for sale. This week’s film is “He’arat Shulayimm (Footnote)”. It has a 12 certificate PG (for thematic elements, brief nudity, language and smoking), and is a drama whose plot revolves around the troubled relationship between a father and son who teach at the Talmud department of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Starring Shlomo Bar’aba and Lior Ashkenazi.
