Kingston Liberal Synagogue Welcomes School Visits

KLS welcomes visits from school children and their teachers. We have a dedicated team of experienced volunteer guides

The guided tours provide an experience of a Jewish place of worship, information about Jewish traditions and practices, and an opportunity to see our Torah scrolls and other traditional artefacts. The children are introduced to ‘living Judaism’, and our aim is to break down fear and prejudice by fostering understanding and good relations with our non-Jewish neighbours.

We are delighted to welcome numerous schools to KLS each year.  Each visit usually lasts about an hour and a half, depending on the age of the children. As a self-funding charity, we do invite schools to make a donation to the synagogue.

To arrange a visit or make enquiries, please contact Tina Higgins, our School Visits’ Co-ordinator, by clicking on the link: KLS School Visits or complete our contact form.

We look forward to welcoming you to KLS soon.
