Israeli Film Festival

KLS is celebrating Yom HaAtzma’ut (Israeli Independence Day) with a film festival showcasing 6 Israeli films from different genre. All films are either in English or have English sub-titles.
Films will be shown at 8pm on alternate Mondays, starting on 11 May. Popcorn and soft drinks will be available for sale. This week’s film is “Bickur Hatizmorret (The Band’s Visit)”. It has a PG-13 (for brief strong language) certificate. A band composed of members of the Egyptian police force heads to Israel to play at the inaugural ceremony of an Arab arts center, only to find themselves lost in the wrong town. Starring Sasoon Gubbye.
