Adult Education – What is Gesher?

We are pleased to welcome Alex Wakely who works for the charity ‘Gesher.’ Gesher help adults who have been brought up in the Ultra Orthodox community but wish to leave adjust to the outside world. Many people in the community grow up speaking only Yiddish and some have never even used public trasport or bought food at a non Jewish shop. Gesher provides a support network and runs activities for them.  Alex will be talking about the work that the charity does.
