Rabbi René Pfertzel featured on the Jewish News podcast this week, talking about the recent decision by Liberal Judaism to allow mixed-faith couples to receive blessings under a Chuppah.
Explaining that the principle behind the decision was one of inclusion, Rabbi René said “The Chuppah is a symbol of the Jewish home and we are allowing this symbol to evolve to meet the new faces of families today”.
