Picnic in the Park

Come and join us for a picnic and games in Marble Hill Park in Twickenham and enjoy an afternoon with old friends and getting to know new members. If you are new or relatively new to KLS this is a great opportunity to meet other members!  We will meet on the side of the park that backs onto Orleans Road (TW1 3BL). There is an entrance gate on Orleans Road with the Coach House Cafe ahead and towards the left; we usually meet on the green area towards the right before the cafe.  Bring along a picnic, games, rugs and anything else you can think of!  Parking is available on Orleans Road but on a fine day it can get busy so it may be necessary to use the car-park or to park on other residential roads nearby. There is also a café selling drinks and refreshments just a few minutes away from where we’ll meet.  If you feel adventurous you can park at Ham House, on the other side of the river and there is a little ferry-boat that goes across from Ham House to Marble Hill Park. Just come off the boat, turn left and right and the gate to the park is there. That car park can get busy too on a sunny day.
