This is the initial schedule for our upcoming High Holidays. Please follow the latest news via our bulletin, as we will be adding activities.
Rosh Hashana
- Selichot Service: Saturday 5th September at Wimbledon Synagogue
- Erev Rosh Hashanah: Friday 11th September. 7pm - 9.30pm. Service followed by Chavurah Supper.
- Rosh Hashanah: Saturday 12th September 10.30am - 1pm. Celebrate the Jewish New Year
with a day of services. - Rosh Hashanah Lunch: Saturday 12th September 1.30 - 4pm. Optional chavurah lunch at a
member’s home in Epsom. Separate sign-up required. Bring a dish or 2 to contribute to a shared lunch. - Rosh Hashanah Day 2: Sunday 13th September. 11am - 1pm.Informal, inter-generational service, including Tashlich. A fun service for all the family followed by casting away your sins in the Thames
Yom Kippur
- Kol Nidrei: Sunday 20th September. 8-10pm. Day of Atonement.
- Yom Kippur: Monday 21st September. A full day of services from 10.30am to 7 pm.
10.30 am morning service
1pm Additional service
3pm Study session / Organised walk
4.15pm Afternoon service - Yom Kippur Break Fast: Monday 21st September. 7pm. Breaking our fast together with dinner at the Limping Fox. Separate sign up required.
The service most aimed at young people will be:
- Yom Kippur afternoon on Monday 21 September, 4pm-7pm
Sukkot
- Erev Sukkot: Friday 25th September 7pm. Sukkot evening service with supper in the sukkah.
- Sukkot Shabbat: Saturday 26th September. 10.45am. An intergenerational Sukkot
service for all the family. - Erev Sukkot Yizkor : Friday 2nd October 8pm. Reflections on loss and trauma
during this period of conflict. - Simchat Torah: Saturday 3rd October 10.45am. Celebrate receiving the Torah
at Mount Sinai
The services most aimed at young people will be:
- Sukkot Shabbat on Saturday 26 September, 10:45am- 12:30pm
- Simchat Torah on Saturday 3 October, 10:45am- 12:30pm
