Summer Ramble

The morning walk will start promptly at 10.15am and is 8 miles which will take around 3 hours at a moderate pace. The circular walk takes us through woodland and past a very picturesque lake. We return to the car park for lunch. (Please bring a picnic.)
The picnic lunch is at about 1.15pm at the car park where there are wooden benches with spectacular views over the rolling Surrey hills.
The afternoon walk starts from the same car park at 2.00pm and is a more leisurely 4 miles across farmland, through meadows and some more woodland areas. We shall be stopping for a well-deserved drink at a local pub before completing the smaller loop back to the start again.
The whole day is around 12 miles or so but you are welcome to do either or both of the loops.
